After nearly a year in our care, Smokey’s story took the turn we had been hoping for. Once our longest feline resident last year at 344 days, this sweet girl with an unknown past spent her time greeting visitors, soaking up affection on her own terms, and quietly watching over the room. Thanks to patience, love, and a family willing to meet her where she was, Smokey is now home for the holidays…exactly where she belongs.
